The average cost of a direct cremation in the UK is £1400 We charge a single fee of £950.00 for an unwitnessed direct cremation, whether your loved on has passed away at home, or a hospital, in hours or out of hours. We also offer the option to be present at the crematorium and have a moment to say goodbye to your loved one for a flat fee of £1150.

What is Included in a Direct Cremation Package?

A standard direct cremation includes the following:

·         Collection of the deceased from the place of death (within our postcode areas)
·         Transportation to the crematorium
·         Completion of necessary paperwork
·         Private cremation without a service
·         Provision of ashes in an urn or container

Can Families Attend the Cremation?

No - a direct cremation is a cremation service with nobody in attendance. However, we also offer the option to be present at the crematorium and have a moment to say goodbye to your loved one for a flat fee of £1150.

My Loved One Has Passed Away Out of the Postcode Areas Mentioned, Can I Still Appoint The Cheshire Cremation Company?

Absolutely, we will travel out of the M, SK, CW, CH and WA postcode areas where needed, if your loved one is resting elsewhere we will charge £1.25 per mile over 30 miles from our crematorium address, however we would discuss this with you where needed, as the price can alter.
